Assurant Recognized by American Red Cross as 2025 Disaster Relief Hero

ATLANTA, April 8, 2025 – Assurant, Inc. (NYSE: AIZ), a premier global protection company that safeguards and services connected devices, homes, and automobiles in partnership with the world’s leading brands, is proud to be named an American Red Cross 2025 Disaster Relief Hero. Recently honored at the Red Cross Heroes Gala in New York City, the Disaster Relief Hero award recognizes the importance of collective efforts to bring hope and healing to those in need following devastating 2024 storms, including Hurricane Helene and Hurricane Milton, and the catastrophic wildfires in California in 2025.

Since 2016, the Assurant Foundation has supported the American Red Cross with grants and matching gifts of more than $2.1 million to assist in disaster relief efforts, including $300,000 to help communities impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton and the wildfires in California.
