Junichi Fujimoto

Junichi Fujimoto joined Assurant Japan in 2016 as country manager and a member of the Board, with responsibility for the company’s overall business development and sales. He was named company president in 2018, providing strategic leadership, establishing the business strategy and developing the company’s long-term goals.

He was previously country manager of Lookout Japan, an American mobile security systems company. In this role, Mr. Fujimoto successfully established partnerships with Japan’s leading mobile operators.

Mr. Fujimoto has more than two decades of expertise in the Japanese IT, mobile and telecoms industries. He has significant experience in management, marketing, and product development, having worked with some of the most innovative IT businesses in the country.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Comparative Culture from Sophia University in Japan.
