Frederico Bunge

Federico Bunge is president of Assurant’s Latin America business, with responsibility for operations in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Bunge has been named to lead Assurant’s international operations and will assume the role at the start of 2022.

Mr. Bunge is a senior business executive with responsibility for developing successful business strategies for Latin America to achieve sustainable long-term growth. With a passion for developing talent, he leads the executive team in the region. He is focused on delivering innovative and transformational solutions that support, protect and connect major consumer purchases whilst meeting the needs of clients and their customers to continually improve the customer experience.

Previously, Mr. Bunge served as president & CEO, Spanish Latin America, with responsibility for developing and executing the strategic priorities for Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Peru and Puerto Rico. Formerly, as CEO of Assurant’s Argentina and Chile businesses, Mr. Bunge was responsible for the P&L of all product lines, including the mobile business.

Mr. Bunge has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, investment banking and insurance, working for global brands including Citibank, Barclays and Cigna.
